Hollywood Thad Aka Thaddeus Young was born in Boston, MA Nov 15th 1989 to Carol and Henry Young of African-Jamaican decent. Due to the current financial situation their unsafe environment became an issue. The streets were full of drugs and gang violence and as a result his older brother was shot. The lifestyle became overwhelming and in 1998 Carol decided to move Hollywood Thad and his 6 brothers to Brockton , MA where he was raised. Later on, his father became an absent figure in his life, making things very difficult in his household and obligating him and his brothers to be each others protection. This influenced his upbringing and gave him a hustlers mindset. Hollywood Thad graduated from Brockton High school in 2008 exceeding in mathmatics. Music has always been a part of Hollywood Thad environment. His mother was known as a singer in Jamaica with the original single "Im going to say goodbye" (Written by Leroy Henry). His infatuation with music and his superior work ethic, along with the influence of his brothers street life led him to the pursuit of a rap and singin career in 2013. Since then, Hollywood Thad has expanded his lyrical and musical abilities while maintaining a forefront position an co-owner of Stay Hungry Records, and he's only getting better with time. Currently Hollywood Thad is creeping up on the MA hip-hop & r&b scene with new music and showing his face in night clubs across the area, opening for big names like Shady Records executive A&R Bizarre. In Fall of 2017 Hollywood Thad will be dropping his first EP "179" featuring the hit single “Take You Out To Lunch” and the street anthem "Fuck up the city". His career is motivated by his hunger to better his community his drive to provide for his family, and most importantly giving back to God. "My gift"
