Deon D. Mayo (born August 22, 1995), known professionally as JonnyDogs, is an independent up an coming rapper, and songwriter out of Connecticut. Born and raised in the P.T. Barnum Housing Projects of Bridgeport, JonnyDogs has always been exposed to the harsh and raw climates of the inner city. He peaked an interest in rapping at the age of 16, after which JonnyDogs began to combine self-conciseness along with the raw realities of his environment, into expressive melody driven rhymes. JonnyDogs sound is not comparable to his fellow peers of today. His lyrical content offers a nostalgia of intellect, word play and visuals. As he anticipates on making his mark in the music industry, JonnyDogs ambitions are set to be a qualifying contributor to the new wave of Connecticut artistry, and bringing his sound to mainstream recognition.
