Kendrick Demark Smith, born October 15, 1994 in Waukegan, Illinois. My stage names were: L.A., L.Dot, Kendrick “Showtyme” Smith, DroDaGenius and now DROCORLEONE. At the age of seven, my brother and I would have rap battles against each other and we enjoyed rapping. I said that someday I was going to be a rapper. Only the age of 19, I am well on my way. Being apart of the group “Purp Gang University” has opened up many different avenues for me. I worked on my first project where I wrote the lyrics and helped with the engineering of the song beats to form a big hit by the name of “Shut Down” that appealed to a lot of people in my home town. I was contacted by “Antioneo Harris” retired NFL football player to perform at a venue where I won best talent for my age division. I was also contacted by “Cristal “BigTymer” Woods” of ByArtisticDesigns to perform the “Shut Down” at her venue at the Milan in Waukegan. Since that time, I have performed at many different venues for “Cristal Woods”. Over the past year, I have performed at the Making of the Next Big Hit for Dr. Fahrenheit, Milan in Waukegan, North Chicago Community Days, Afro-fest, Twin City Parks, The Kenosha Bandshell and BET, Club E for Coast2Coast, Rep YO City Tour and I qualified to attend the BET HIPHOP AFTER PARTY in Atlanta. I have also performed at many different venues around the Chicago land area. I have auditioned for the Dwayne Wade’s Chicago Has Talent, Douglas Park and a Performance Studio where I was On the Channel T.V. My music has aired on 92.3 with Dj Shawndell, and the songs were “Look in Da Mirror and Shut Down”, now two new hot songs Head Nod and Bang ft. Waka Flocka and Chicago Finest Bo-Deal on the hook. DroCorleone of “Purp Gang University” recorded the “Party Hard Remix” with Tampi Lo of Chicago and the “Cadillac Anthem” for the Cadillac and Prestigious Cadillac Clubs. They just completed the Music video along with the Performance video for the Cadillac Club. Dro and his brother have recorded two songs with Waka Flocka, Bo-Deal and Frenchie of Brick Squad Monopoly, BFN from Killa Klan and I will be featuring Crucial Conflict and Fatal 4 on their future projects. Some of my future projects will be the shooting of the Wangin video, being featured in a video with Fatal 4 as they promote their new hit Lil Mama on MTV and appearing once again on Power 92.3 for the releasing of the songs 24/7 and Turn Up featuring Bo-Deal, and completion of the “Blood Brothers” CD.
