This rapper/singer shines light on a different side of Pittsburgh with his latest music video. Always Been takes you on this loner's journey through a house party led by melodic layers and heartfelt notions in every line- "...And we got closer, but now her shoulders' colder than the coast of Nova Scotia used to be like Cosa Nostra, shouldn'tna rode that roller coaster oh no..." Shortly after losing his first job after college Lights La Soul (often going by the name 'pendada') began singing, producing, and recording him self with the help of studio veteran Big Jerm at ID Labs studios. His first attempt, along with a dope visual shot by friend Clark Johnson, earned him a much needed local music grant. At the beginning of this year, he announced representation by Levels Agency - Pittsburgh's premiere party promotion agency turned culture brand and management company.
