Born and raised in Brockton Massachusetts, Chris Watkins, known for his stage name Tok the Outcast King, is ready to set the bar for Hip-Hop artists in the Brockton and Dorchester area! Rapping since the young age of 8, This poet decided to take music seriously at the age of 21. Tok grew up singing in choirs since kindergarten until his junior year of high school. In middle school he also participated in plays and musicals.  This lyrical problem considers himself a "jack of all trades" with his unique lyrics and multi versatile sound. He has a love for music in its entirety. Ranging from Chance the Rapper, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Joyner Lucas and Cousin Stizz to many more,Tok's plethora of influencers have curved his outlook on sound. “If I don't get goose bumps or cry randomly then it's not project material.” His current EP Marketing Soul, Part. 1 is a collection of thoughts, lessons, and observations that Tok has experienced while living from place to place. Giving back to the community is imperative to Tok. Knowing his strengths, he looks towards putting the industry on notice in hopes to bring attention and opportunity back to Brockton and Dorchester.
