Queen K, is 16 years of age and was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Queen K attends Miami Northwestern Sr. High School as a 9th-grade Medical Magnet and PAVAC student.
Queen K is a positive, motivational, inspirational rapper. She was the esteemed chosen performer to rap alongside Jody Hill and the Deep Fried Funk Band that opened up for International rap artist Flo-Rida at the 2018 Florida Aids Walk.
Queen K made history by becoming the first rapper to win in a vocal category at the Young Talent Big Dreams talent showcase. This proved to be a highlight of her career and a noteworthy accomplishment, as this competition has been a main event in South Florida for the past eight years. She wrote and performed a song about the Florida Standard Assessment Test (FSA), which relates to thousands of her school-aged peers. After winning the vocal category at Young Talent Big Dreams (April 2018).
Queen K continued to be recognized for her ability to write and perform. The PATH to Hip-Hop organization, which teaches youth the history, philosophy, and main elements of Hip Hop culture, extended an opportunity for her to participate in a summer intensive program. While participating with PATH, she gained the attention of five-time Grammy nominee Karl “Dice Raw” Jenkins from the hip-hop group “The Roots.” This was when she landed her first theatrical hip-hop role in the play Henry Box Brown (January 2019).
Queen K was also blessed to win 1st place at the Circle of Brotherhood Back to school talent show case where she took home the overall grand prize.
Queen K has also been honored and blessed to have opened up for Ayo and Teo at the Overtown Music and Arts Festival (2018), Jermain Dupri’s “SoSo Def” artists, Street Bud (Birthday Bash 2018), Ball Greezy at the 4th of July Miami Day event - hosted by 99 Jamz (2018)and Ball Greezy once again at the Vote Period Music Fest - hosted by 103.5 Da Beat radio station.
Queen K was recently chosen as the Student of the Week by 99JAMZ for having a 3.6 GPA and was featured to host the 8 o’clock countdown along side Dj Nasty and Radio Big Mac. She was given the opportunity to spit live on the radio due to her rap career highlighting educational and positive rap lyrics (May 2019).
