Jadoré Monay, makes a mixture of Pop, R&B, and Hip-Hop music. She is a performing artist that brings out all aspects of entrainment onto whatever stage she is performing on. To her, having choreography and emotion in whatever show she is putting on is very important and almost comes first before even getting down the notes in whatever song/s she is singing. Jadoré comes from a family that was deeply involved in the entertainment business. All the way from her grandmother, Vonny Hilton Sweeney, who worked with capitol records to Jadoré Monay's Godfather, James Brown who was an entertainer himself and who was also managed by Vonny. A lot of Jadoré Monay’s inspiration comes from him, especially the performance aspects and how serious it was to entertain. Always moving and grooving to the beat just like her Godfather, Jadoré is consistently taking dance classes ranging from jazz, hip-hop, musical theatre, and many more. From the age of 5 to now she has always been involved in the performing arts, ranging from dancing to acting, even getting into the different performance departments that her high school offered. Resulting from that she got more introduced and more involved to the musical theatre world in high school, causing her to later get inspired to audition and go to college at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, located in Los Angeles, California. She majored in musical theatre, studying acting, singing, and dancing all together. After AMDA she then attended school at the Musicians Institute, also located in Los Angeles, Ca. Majoring in the Independent Artist Program, she worked to become one of the next greatest entertainers in the world, just like her Godfather. Jadoré has also been involved in many artistic projects while living in L.A. She was casted as a backup dancer for the music video series Forbidden, for artist Todrick Hall, and also was the dancer for Spotify artists Moosh & Twist for their music video Somethin’ Tells Me. On top of that she modeled for actor Tequan Richmond’s sweatshirt merchandise line. A special skill Ms. Sweeney has is the fact that she is a professional western horseback and trick rider.
