With swag splashing confidence, and hypnotizing wit paralleling his urban edge, this intellectual thug delivers street insights with slashing metaphors. Jade Williams, born in Culver City California spent his early childhood in Suga Frees home town Pomona. As a preteen, his father was shot while protecting his mother during a robbery. The family then relocated to the overrun gang infested streets of South Los Angeles. Staying true to his roots Jade goes by his hood moniker and alter ego TALL CUZZ (TC) aka William Best. TC’s primary style of rap is Gangsta, but fuses genres like EDM, Trap, Pop, Jazz, and Conscious into his music. Inking his first deal at 19, TC’s career started with indie record label No Category Entertainment (NCE). Tailgating his tenure with NCE, Tall Cuzz teamed up with Close friend and homeboy Sandman Negus to start Rebel Kings Entertainment. This Crenshaw District Duo started recording a mixtape titled, “Extras Vol.1”; However, both TC and Sandman being shot and hospitalized, the project was put on hold. The following year working to complete the mixtape Tall Cuzz was sentenced to six-years in prison. Unfortunately, TC lost his close friend, father, and grandmother while incarcerated. These losses threw fuel on the already burning desire to become a legendary emcee. As a result, TC immersed himself with studying Philosophy, English, History and various disciplines of Science to enhance his scope of content and song writing skills. After doing the time for committing the crime, claiming his independence TC started his own record label: Ear Hustle Entertainment. Determined to master the craft TC attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA for the Independent Artist Program. Making waves TC’s first independent release on EarHustle Entertainment is fiery hit single “Been a Goon.” If that isn’t enough to solidify TC’s presence, maybe a colab with an International Czech star, Persian songstress and Rap Legend will. “Misery,” Produced by ExcelBeats, Tall Cuzz is featured on Bizzy Bones super single alongside Nasi Nassiri and Ladislav Raego Pham. Most Recently Tall Cuzz was featured in Music Connection Magazines April 2018 issue for the attention-grabbing authenticity of his “Been A Goon,” Official Music Video.
