Most known for his melodic rapping, Corey Denzel Walker (aka Cor2ey), is an Oklahoma native and a Colorado resident who discovered his love for music at a very young age.Artists such as Ariana Grande, Childish Gambino, Tori Kelly, Chance the Rapper, Logic, and much more are said to be his top influences and his main inspirations for writing. He started off by uploading his singles to SoundCloud and performing at a national competition, Coast2Coast Live. After winning first place in the Coast2Coast Live semi finals competition, Cor2ey was presented with the opportunity to stream his music on bigger platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify, Tidal, etc.In 2017, Cor2ey released his song “Hold Up”, produced by Z. Will, which quickly gained popularity within his fan base and became his most streamed song on multi-media platforms. This lead to the release of more hit singles like, “Lexi” and “Uno”. For the past year, Cor2ey has been working on his upcoming EP “Corey Vs. Cor2ey”, which is said to be released sometime this summer. ~ Ellie Calloway
