Hainan, China native Dava Liu aka Soy Sauce moved to the states after winning several TV Dance Show Competitions throughout Asia. She then garnered the attention of one the top entertainers in the country. Chris Brown featured her in several of his videos and she also worked with God Father Snoop Dogg, Musical Genius Pharrell and the Spanish Pop Icon Enrique Iglesias to name a few. It was then she realized her love for being behind the microphone. Having an admiration for hip-hop from the early age of 5 and growing up listening to Missy Elliot, Tupac, and Ludacris she decided to be a hip hop artist. “Hip hop has a big inuence on China and Asia as a whole, so I fell in love with the positivity hip-hop brought to our community, it is very inspiring to the people of my country.” She didn’t just want to be a hip-hop rapper she wanted to be a Trap Rapper which led her to create her very own genre Trapinese. Being in LA for less than 2 years and deciding to take her craft as a rapper to the next level she began writing and recording, but it was after being discovered by Executive Producer /Celebrity Publicist Micah White, Soy Suace signed with Level Up Music Group. Soon after she released her 1st Mix Tape “Soy Sauce” where she remixed some the best hip hop songs of Summer 16, dripping her sauce all over some of Drake, Future and Young Thugs biggest hits. After the release of 5 videos to accompany the mixtape she got back in the studio to gear up for the release of her 1st single and strip club anthem “Bad Bitches On Fleek”. Shortly after she began touring the West Coast as well hitting all the major clubs and strip clubs in LA & Atlanta. Soy Sauce is determined to make her country proud by being the 1st female international rap star from China, and officially putting Asia on the map for hiphop.
