****Biography**** When you here the name “Bodymore Banga$” you think of words such as; gangbangers, troublemakers, outlaws and all types of negative meanings. The name “Bodymore Banga$” stands for more than what it sounds like. Bodymore, meaning Baltimore, MD is the birth place and home of the Bodymore Banga$. It also stands for the struggles and hardship most people in Baltimore City go thought day after day. Banga, a word with many meanings has only one definition when it is used in such a manner as a “Bodymore Banga”. Banga$ described as music bangers, club bangers, radio hits and hot jams. Together the name Bodymore Banga$ symbolizes a movement emerging in the hip-hop community. Influenced by musical legends of all genre’s has created a level of respect for not just the beat, but the sound behind the beat. Bodymore Banga$ are composed of three (3) main members, Knuckle$, 12$hot$hawy and Ka$h; aside from a large entourage of artist. Born in Baltimore City and raised “Ova East”, each felt the impact of poverty affected areas. Growing-up around drug abuse and child neglect, was a day by day obstacle an 80’s Baby growing up in the 90’s would face becoming an adult. The same streets that catered to alley cats and hood rats ended up teaching boys how to be men. After middle school each Banga choose to take a different route in life, four (4) years later reunited with a story to tell!!!!! Bodymore Banga$ have performed at many venues, some include the BL Lounge in Arbutus, MD; the Latin Palace in Baltimore, MD; Elite Lounge in Baltimore, MD; Island Café in Washington D.C.; and Club Twisted in Martinsburg, WV. We have also preformed on the “Now, What Mixtape Tour” starting at The Atrium in Atlanta, GA continuing in Hopkinsville, KY at the Princess Theater and finishing the tour in the City of Memphis, TN. As a group Bodymore Banga$ have made efforts to gain knowledge about the business side of music by attending the SCMC Conference in South Carolina as well as attending the 2011 DMV MUSIC AWARDS. Bodymore Banga$ are currently working on a “new BODYMORE BANG’IN” Mixtape entitled “BANGA MU$IK”. With hard Rock’n sounds and Lyrical content that can only be described as unique.
