Born in the late 80''s Blazo, formerly known as Yung Blaze; was a small town kid with big dreams. His dreams were far beyond that of his hometown of Beloit, WI. He was born and raised there until he was 13 years old. Blazo then moved to Rockford, IL to finish his teen years and were he currently resides and calls home. Influenced by his uncle Platinum Tone''s hustler ways & his love for basketball, he got a taste of both the streets & the academic world. He began rapping at the age of 11 but didn''t take music serious until he was a sophomore in college where he attended on a full ride basketball scholarship. After being kicked off the basketball team close to the end of his senior year, he decided to make his music passion, a full time career and landed a deal with an indie label based out of Chicago. Though the situation didn''t blossom like he would have liked, Blazo kept grinding until his work was recognized by his partner/brother from another PS (CEO of Think.And.Grow Records). Blazo has had the chance to work with industry veterans such as: Vudu Spellz (Grammy Award Winning Producer), Young Chop (Credited for King Louie, Chief Keef& more), and Sidney Malone, Rudy Davis, Loud Beats, Creative Hitz and more. He has also worked with artists like King Louie, Cap 1, Tory Lanez, Issa and more. Blazo has headlined numerous sold out shows throughout the Illinois/Wisconsin area for the past year and has performed on the same bill as artist like Kevin Gates, Trae The Truth, Lil Durk, K Camp just to name a few. Now with his new deal and new single "Is He The Plug? " produced by Loud Beats and is set to release Third Quarter 2015, Blazo is now ready to introduce to the world to a new sound that he believes will capture a wide audience. Not driven by ego, but by sheer hard work and determination, Blazo looks to make his mark in the Music Business. He knows the hype and fraudulent people are all over this business. Thus he wants to build his brand, reputation and business in order to venture into other financial opportunities for the future
