Half Jamaican and African American otherwise derived as Belinda Murphy a.k.a. stage name BeBe The Jamerican G was born in Cincinnati Ohio on February 5th 1983 at Christ Hospital and raised by her Jamaican mother Windell Murphy who married and then divorced her father Vietnam Veteran Mason Murphy. It wasn't until 6 years of age when Belinda started really singing and dancing. During family functions like Thanksgiving and Christmas her mother would ask her to portray and entertain the family with one of her favorite Jamaican artists which was Patra "Work a Man". Years later at the age of 32 her mom passed on July 18th 2015 and she finally meets her father who wasn't in the picture for the first seventeen years of her life Belinda has had so many experiences in the music industry and was given the nickname BeBe by her peers in school which would eventually evolve into the stage name BeBe The Jamerican G. At age 33 on December 29th of 2016 she had to attend the ceremony of her nephew Stephan Windell Jeter who was laid to rest. Now at age 34 with plenty of practice and stage performances she is ready to take center stage to perform shows and sell out arenas. "Success does not happen overnight. You may have a few bumps in the road along the way. However you have to stay focused and dedicated to your dreams."
