Young ANT Bio Antyenette Walker, better known as Young ANT the First Blind Female Rapper, is an All-American Hip-Hop recording artist. Young ANT is inspiring the vision-impaired community, while informing the masses about blind awareness through her motivational and powerful messages found in her lyrics. Born on November 11, 1997 in Minneapolis, MN, Young ANT was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. At the age of 11, Young ANT was diagnosed with optic atrophy, which caused her to go blind in her left eye. Later, during Christmas 2015, she went completely blind at the age of 18. ANT was a straight A&B student during K through 12 grades. During her senior year of high school, she struggled with losing her vision as graduation approached. ANT’s dream has always been to become a writer. She joined several writing clubs to follow her dreams. The oldest of four siblings, ANT wants to be a positive role model. Young ANT hopes that she can become the face for blind people and to open doors for disabled people, showing the world that just because you're diagnosed with a certain disability doesn't mean that you can't accomplish and achieve your goals. Young ANT has performed at schools and in multiple different cities. ANT is also a motivational speaker for her community and people with disabilities. Currently, she’s working on her debut mixtape and hopes to follow up with an album. For booking and more information please feel free to contact YOUNG ANT youngANT1121@gmail.com
